Have you ever seen an Angel?

One day my heart fully broke.
I received a call letting me know a dearest loved one had been in a horrible accident.
In those moments, I didn’t know how to put my clothes on.
Truly.
Somehow I drove to urgent care and waited for two of the longest hours of my life, tears streaming down my face.
And then I was allowed behind the walls and curtains, not knowing what I’d find.
I almost ran into the trauma room, it was so hard to make small talk with the nurse patiently walking beside me.
Just behind the double doors was my loved one… alive and awake!
I began to thank God over and over, as I sat in a chair that has held so much pain.
Only moments later, as I began to settle down, a whisper like a magnet began to summon my attention...
So I cast my eyes towards the ground, off to the right, seeing the most beautiful golden glow.
I followed the path of the golden glow… and there she stood.
Threads of gold crafted her dress.
She smiled so confidently, and in that moment I KNEW…
She had saved my loved one. And this wasn’t the first time.
She stayed there with us for quite a while, watching over my loved one’s care.
She let me know she watched over both of us during times of great, immediate need, and that we were so safe.
I looked away for only a moment, and she was gone, a penny left in her place.
Throughout the next week, I found penny after penny in the strangest places imagineable, and the moment the hospital stay was over, the pennies stopped arriving.
It was that simple, and that profound, and completely unexplainable… All at once.
I feel her from time to time, checking in on how everyone is doing…
And then... a penny is found.🪶
